November 2 Remember

Jeez luweez! What a damn good Friday night.

$5BxB presents: November 2 Remember

This was my second time vending with $5BxB and honestly? It’s a win, win for me every single time. Like, I keep thinking it can’t top the last one and then it does. Every. Time.

The Bronx Brewery is the perfect spot for a show like this, celebrating and uplifting the BX punk scene. High industrial ceilings, giant brewing tanks lining the left side when you walk in, and then, the stage to your right, ready for the performers to share their talent. They also had this projector flashing band names, world updates, reminders of what we are all up against.

And the lineup? Oooooweeee. Pure heart. Every band embodied what punk is: raw, anti-establishment, loud, messy, and a real community. The type of music that punches you in the chest but also reminds you we’re not alone out here. Punk has always been about fighting back and holding each other down, and that energy was definitely alive and screaming.

Alsoooo, this was my first time showing off my new table setup. Is the bag extra heavy now? Yes. Absolutely yes. I need to get back into weight training because WHY is my shoulder screaming like that?? But is the display dope and showing off more of my art? Also yes. So it’s a win–win–win: cute table, and stronger biceps.

Lil ol’ me and my new table display.

It was so much fun meeting and talking to everyone who stopped by my table. I love y’all. For real. The support from other creatives was wild in the best way.
